Travel Trouble

Please sponsor my 5k swim coming up in April and help support Marie Curie Cancer Care, an organisation which provides home nursing care to people with terminal illnesses.

By now many of you reading this know that I was robbed at knifepoint in Sihanoukville on Thursday. I’m currently in Phnom Penh working on the passport/visa situation since that was one of the things they got. I went to the US embassy today and will receive my 1-year emergency passport tomorrow afternoon. After that, I need to get a new z-visa from the Chinese embassy and an exit visa from the Cambodian Immigration Department.

I just have to keep reminding myself that as a big of a hassle as this is, it’s certainly not the worst. I’m physically unhurt, and I’m not stranded.
