Thursday Read Write Poem

Read my latest story, "The All-Nighter", at 52|250.

Dream Flight

two years behind
in the fourth quarter

the execution
has had its challenges

plagued by delays
and structural flaws

where the wings meet
the body

is it fatal?

I’m new to the idea of an Erasure, but I find it fascinating. This poem brings to mind Icarus… fatal indeed.

I hadn’t thought of Icarus as I was finding this poem, but now that you mention it, I can see it. :)

As for erasures, I highly recommend Ronald Johnson’s Radi Os. (He took on Paradise Lost.)

I find erasures difficult. This is a great one.
